clever sleight of hand, DtW. "Oath of Office", how can this ever be good when "Office" itself is a legal creation (deception) promoted by those who swear blood oaths? all oaths are mind-control. mind-control is only necessary because those who implement such tactics know all too well that whenever a human being thinks for itself, it may question the whole false edifice and come to reject it outright. were this ever to happen on a mass scale, game over. human beings would no longer willingly offer their bodies/minds/souls to enter into & support the leader/follower/slave racket.
with the above quoted statement, DtW reveals itself as clever mind-controlling captor posing as liberator. sadly, these type of folks are very, very common on substack. here we are casually invited to accept DtW's implied notion "good government" when such a term is a blatant oxymoron.
religious folks, god love 'em, tend to fall for this kind of thing hook, line and sinker. which, of course, is why the main requirement to become a freemason is ones' belief in god/superior being.
If there are space faring societies, I suggest they are all communist. As a society progresses technologically, the potential scope of the harm an individual can do expands. case in point, 100 yrs ago, the worst a man might do is ride in to town guns blazing. Now an intelligent person could build technology to kill millions of people. They could send an army of drones over the congress dropping anthrax. More power requires more oversight, unfortunately - tighter and tighter regulation of the individual, which includes his thoughts. Its not only a matter of security, but efficiency. If you want 2 day amazon, people are going to have to be treated as cogs to get there. There is less and less room for maverick individuals because they could potentially bring down everything - think "12 monkeys". Indeed earth may be a dumping ground for all the non-conformists: artists, original thinkers, sex offenders, tax cheats, etc.
from where i sit, the cosmos itself is utterly without compassion. It has precisely the same level of compassion as a computer program, which might make one wonder.... in any case, compassion as a concept arises from the problems of managing a society. In the old days, 2 strangers from different tribes encountering the other in the woods would kill each other. This is even true today inasmuch as "compassionate" people will support war efforts, where a nation like USA, for example, will kill a million brown people someplace, for good reason of course;) For a society to speak of compassion, of liberty, truth and then send off it's young men to a war of aggression (and nearly all comply) shows that these values are not genuinely deeply held by many people at all. It's sort of a fairy tale. In other words, don't kid ourselves, the average citizen is the same moral caliber as the illuminati. Look at covid, what percentage of the world population went along with it? and don't say its because they lack information. I tried again and again and again for years and they don't WANT the information. People by and large are getting what they deserve, more accurately, they are reaping the harvest that was planted

oops. i deleted my comment. I didn't want to crowd the comments. I may as well say now though, don't get the idea I am pointing a blameful finger at society. By placing spirits in bodies and making them all fight to the death to stay alive (eating,etc), giving them short memories (repeat back 100 number sequence, seen once),subjugating them to a nervous system that can make them say "uncle", they have been placed in an untenable position. The burden of my complaint is against the universe itself, not the inmates. That said, I think communism is the inevitable final destination of organized societies that continue to progress technologically
This is a special dimension, in my understanding. It's special because the characteristics of time and space differ from everywhere else in the cosmos. This environment was created to be difficult and nearly all of us chose to come here. It's more a school than a prison and when you think about "finding joy through hardship" and how everything can be used to improve (bad things are actually good on some level), it starts to make sense. Follow Truth, Compassion and Tolerance and you will be on the right path to return to your home.
I didn't say I don't subscribe to those values. Is this a special dimension? I would like to think so but I have no data that it is. Physicality as I understand it, is ruled by force, which is 180 opposition to compassion, justice. In terms of a school, it depends on who you are talking about. Its like Goldilocks, the degree of challenge has to be within a mid range for any good to come of it. Think about all the pigs living a life of horror and then being slaughtered and this happens billions of times over and over. I don't see any lessons at all there. If that is a lesson, then do you think God would mind if I went on a killing spree and injected all the world's children with a 'vaccine' that kills their higher selves? I would really like to think there is such a thing as "home" but I can't simply decide it is so without reason. I used to believe that. i don't any more.
This is about faith and the power of belief. Can you enlighten when you can't see the true picture? The only way to elevate is to enlighten.
As for reincarnation, it's a reward/punishment system. Do bad things, you'll come back as a pig or maybe as a rock waiting to be weathered away, or if you collected enough virtue by doing good deeds you might come back as a billionaire. How long would you be inside that rock before you could get out? 10,000 years? That's the concept of karma, the cosmic accounting system.
last thing I wanted to comment on. I don't actually reject the idea that there is a sovereign over all this, over life, I can see what is plain in astrology, for example. But I don't see reason to conclude that it is loving, just, merciful, nor my creator. For all I know, there are super advanced beings, perhaps not only billions of years advanced but of a higher order, as humans are higher order than germs, and amongst their number, one may call itself "God" and the whole universe believe it. Does not make it true. I understand that people, being mortal, but implanted with the need to survive in perpetuity, are highly motivated to work out their picture of reality such that it all works out in the end. I have addressed the supposed 'source' of all many times and only got crickets in response. People are of all intellects, considering the fabulous complexity and mystery of life, no just god would demand they all figure it all out and arrive at a suitable view of life. What may be reasonably expected, for example, of a person sub 50 IQ?
well I don't want to be contradictory on and on, but just taking the example of billionaires - note that they are all scum, down to the last man, every single one. they torture and kill children for sport and adrenochrome. It is not reasonable from where I sit to postulate that these were upstanding wonderful beings who, upon receiving their reward, turned into satanic child killers. Not a single billionaire has turned states evidence and exposed the plot against life. And in terms of Karma, I have 3 cats missing a back leg and I have to constantly help them itch themselves. I don't at all subscribe to the notion that these simple innocent souls did something bad in a previous life.
