I tried to read this with an open mind....but as soon as I saw that you wrote this to market YOUR SERVICE (PrivateLINE) the whole article went south with TONS of bias.

This whole article is a ploy to market YOUR services. (Classified=Unreliable)

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Matthew. Yes, it might seem janky, but how else can we get people to try a new private service? We're testing it right now and it's entirely possible we don't even mention it online, it could spread through usage, but we are testing everything -- it's a new concept, away from the internet.

Go fact check the article. Everything is documented and solid. You can make up your own mind and form your own opinion. Telegram is not private or secure. But it's fine for large groups, however, everything you do there will be tracked and likely put into your "record". People don't seem to care about that (yet), but they will in the future, when their social credit score is impacted by belonging to a crypto or political action group on Telegram.

As for the "pitch"...I'm going to move this blog to privateLINE and many others will do the same. There are things I need to share with people that will be stomped down and I'm tired of rebuilding everything after being de-platformed multiple times. At one website we had, Google kept the money we had already earned when they perma-banned us! The stories on that site were posts by people about Trump, Obama, etc. One email that literally disappeared was "Is Obama Gay?" (we don't care)....Verizon blocked the site for someone posting that story. This is where we are headed and if you don't like our solution, I welcome you to do something better. Or you can just accept whatever they let you see...that's all your choice.

The tech will be solid, it'll soon be completely decentralized and you'll be able to do many things for free. It will run if DNS is taken down, which is the easiest way to turn off the internet and it'll run on a private cellular network and over Starlink, we're building that now. It's not cheap to run a quality private comms service, which is why most of the big ones rely on oligarchs and Deep State money. We are working to find the right business model because people will have to pay for service....with money or their data...there will be ways we architect the business to protect the users from the "buy-close" and other games they like to play.

We built this new service expressly to save this important content and allow free communications because the censorship is about to move up a few notches. We don't have time to keep rebuilding everything from scratch (again). Substack was funded by the same people who fund everything. It's only a matter of time before they get pressure from their payment processors, investors, etc. and then the next rug pull begins. We need to be prepared for this.

One other point, many things are disappearing. In the near future, you will see the internet archive, which is already being censored, disappear. Now, more content disappears from the internet every day You might not like the pitch, but the internet is on the edge of destruction. Someone has to do something about it. You can get a free account and try it out, or not....that's your choice. But I am going to tell you that many posts on this blog will get "disappeared" and people will also start disappearing, sadly.

One more thing...Pavel went to jail for his beliefs...several times. Are you willing to do the same? He also sunk MILLIONS of $$ into his own system...are you willing to do the same?

Also, another company offers you a billion $$$ for your service...how do we know you won't take it and run? Many times this was offered to Pavel...he turned them down...flat. Will you?

You really believe he's not an operator?

LOL. Of course, he's inside that system. No one gets that far without being inside the system. No one gets that kind of money, funding, help, etc. You don't think the UAE aren't helping him with his infrastructure? Do you know anything about the UAE? It's a big part of the future Money Laundry (tm). You know what happened right after he was detained in France? TG downloads jumped. Think about the logic...many things are done "for show" and Pavel might well be an unwilling participant in some of these things.

But your point is well taken on the business exit. I've already had one company go through the "buy -close". That's the business structuring I'm talking about and we are working on that. The issue is to do these things right, it does cost a lot of money at a certain point. We'll need a complete open source hardware system and clean OS. Not sure I fully trust everything out there...

And this closes my point. From what you said above, you operate on the surface level of "Conspiracy Theories". You do not have 100% PROOF of what you said about Pavel. Just hunches, guesses, and maybes'.

My prediction for your service...you will not make it through the gauntlet of 2025.

Again, you are missing a vital point here. Why is it necessary to talk bad about another mans product? It makes you look petty and unprofessional. Also, you are competing against 1 BILLION users vs your own. There is plenty of internet and users to go around. Play to your strengths. (Clue: you will not sway true Telegram users...you will be looked at like just another wannabe)

Have you watched the Tucker Carson interview with Durov? If you did...you would understand where I am coming from. CLUE: Win one billion users...don't insult them with your old information.

Finally...how do you know YOUR platform won't disappear? If they can take down Telegram...they will have no problem taking down yours.

P.S. PLEASE don't say that they cannot take yours down...cause that would make you a liar.

We're not competing against Telegram. People should keep using it for whatever they use it for today, but be aware it's not secure and their data is being raped in the UAE. That's not my opinion, I pointed out what a widely trusted cryptographer said about Telegram and screenshot receipts of TG's own documentation. You can decide if that's secure enough for your needs and maybe you don't need a privateLINE. For most comms, no one cares. But TG should never be trusted with important things like keys or sensitive messages that could get people killed. Ever. -- that's the point.

The only way to ensure a platform won't disappear is to have a decentralized, open source and user supported system. We're building for this target. Keep in mind open source is also compromised in a variety of ways, so extra care needs to be applied. A similar approach to the way SWIFT installs at banks will need to be used, where there are two teams looking over the shoulder of the dev to make sure no "funny business" happens. We had to remove a number of trackers from the "open source" Element code used for the messenger. I'm not saying we're perfect, either, but who else is pointing out these things?

As for Tucker, you can decide to trust someone who wears a red Kabbalah thread on their wrist if that's what you want. Many of the biggest names in alt media work for the spies, it's a fact. Things are very complicated right now. I can only show you some things and you'll make your own choices.. You are welcome to get a free account and try it.

Open source? Okay...let's play with that.

What are you going to do when the manure hits the blade when terror groups like ISIS, Palestine, Hezbolah, the Cartel, etc hit your platform...what are YOU going to do vs what Durov is doing?

BTW...Telegram gets hit with thousands of requests...per day.

In order to have the ability to turn over our conversations, they would need a back door.

So, don't discuss anything on telegram that you're not okay with sharing with the feds. Save those conversations for in-person, or find alternate secure comms. And even the most secure comms in the world are potentially compromised. So use any online comms knowing that it is risky.
